An unlicensed motorcyclist from Needham is facing multiple charges after a reckless attempt to evade pursuing police officers in the area of Webster Street and Hillside Avenue.Shea Dalton, 20, was charged with speeding, failure to stop for a police officer, using a motor vehicle without authority, and operating a motorcycle without being properly licensed.On Friday afternoon, police observed Dalton traveling at 48 mph in a 30 mph zone. An officer attempted to stop Dalton, but he fled the area, police say.Dalton drove over two lawns, got off his motorcycle, and attempted to hide in a flower garden behind a house of Avery Street, police say.Police caught up to Dalton and arrested him.Upon further investigation, it was learned that Dalton was not licensed to operate a motorcycle. Additionally, police determined the motorcycle was not his and that he took it without the owner's permission.
