Motorcyclist Injured in Crash, Trespassing, and More: Needham Police Log

The following is from the Needham Police Log. Arrests and charges mentioned don't imply conviction.

April 29

10:49 a.m. - Officers responded to a report of a car crash involving a motorcycle on South Street. The motorcyclist was transported to Beth Israel Deaconess Needham with lower leg and shoulder injuries.

9:30 p.m. - An officer was dispatched to the area of 450 Chestnut St. for a report of people throwing rocks from the railroad tracks against a nearby house. Two teenage boys were encountered on the train bridge over Chestnut Street and they fled off the bridge onto Chestnut Street, where other officers encountered them. At this time the determination to charge both teens, 15-year-old Needham boys, for trespassing on MBTA property. Both are being summoned to court for walking or standing on railroad property.

April 30

2:30 p.m. - An officer responded to the Sheraton on Cabot Street for a minor motor vehicle crash that had occurred at the intersection of Highland Avenue and Webster Street. A subsequent investigation revealed that one of the operators involved in the crash did not have a valid driver's license. The 27-year-old Boston resident will be summoned to Dedham District Court for operating a motor vehicle without a driver's license.
