Needham Businesses Offering Mother’s Day Specials

Mother's Day is less than 48 hours away, so if you haven't thought yet about what you're doing for that special woman in your life, you may want to start looking now.

Several establishments in the community of Needham are marking Mother's Day with brunches and specials. Below is a list of businesses that are participating in the big day.

Masala Art

The Great Plain Ave. restaurant will be hosting brunch between 11:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. The cost is $17 per person and includes appetizers like spinach and cheese rolls, along with salads and fruits, soups, a chaat station and a variety of North Indian buffet items.

Boston Bakes for Breast Cancer

Five Needham establishments are currently participating in Boston Bakes for Breast Cancer, a fundraiser that will benefit research for breast cancer. Acorns Bakery & Café, Not Your Average Joe's, The Rice Barn, Roche Bros. and Sudbury Farms are all taking part.

All locations have created a special dessert item, which costs $8 on average, and all proceeds are donated to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. More information on the event can be found at the official Boston Bakes website.

Needham Golf Club

A Mother's Day Brunch will be held on Sunday from 11 a.m.- 2 p.m. Chefs will be cooking omelets to order, and serving smoked salmon, hand carved turkey and slow roasted top sirloin. Not Your Average Joe's

Soup, appetizers and entrees of Vietnamese salmon, pistachio pesto primavera, filet mignon and other items are on the menu for Mother's Day. The kitchen opens at 11 a.m. and reservations are recommended at 781-453-9300.
