Needham Coronavirus: North Hill Retirement Reports 26 Cases
Some residents and employees at the North Hill retirement community tested positive for the coronavirus.
NEEDHAM, MA — The North Hill retirement community in Needham reported 26 positive cases of the new coronavirus. North Hill told the Needham Times on Thursday that the facility requested the Massachusetts National Guard test residents for the virus.
According to The Times, 11 residents at North Hill's Pines Edge skilled nursing center tested positive and one has recovered and 15 employees tested positive and have been isolated at home.
In a statement to The Times, North Hill said it has been limiting visitors to its facilities, cleaning frequently and monitoring residents and employees for symptoms.
