Needham Cultural Council Hosting Volunteer Management Workshop

NEEDHAM, MA — Needham Community Council Volunteer Coordinator is hosting a nonprofit volunteer management workshop on August 7 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Topics being covered include:

• How to recruit specific types of volunteers
• How to engage volunteers and board members in ways that are meaningful to them/ to your organization
• How to handle students/corporations that need/want community service projects
• How to “fire” a volunteer

Reserving a spot in the workshop is required, but there is no fee for any nonprofit organization from Needham or Newton. Light refreshments will also be served.
