Needham Election Season Coming: Nomination Papers, Key Dates
Find out what positions are on the Needham ballot in 2019.

NEEDHAM, MA — Town election season is officially open. Candidates have until Feb. 19 to pick up nominations papers, get at least 50 signatures, and withdraw papers for the Needham annual election on April 9.
Voters will have plenty of decisions to make with 21 positions up for a vote on the April ballot. The following positions are on the ballot:
- Moderator (3-year term)
- Select Board member (3-year term)
- Town Clerk (3-year term)
- Assessor (3-year term)
- Three School Committee members (3-year term)
- Trustee of Memorial Park - Veteran (3-year term)
- Trustee of Memorial Park - Non Veteran (3-year term)
- Two Trustees of Needham Public Library (3-year term)
- Trustee of Needham Public Library (2-year term)
- Board of Health (3-year term)
- Two Members of the Board of Health
- Planning Board (5-year term)
- Needham Housing Authority (5-year term)
- Commissioner of Trust Funds (3-year term)
- Commissioner of Trust Funds (3-year term)
- Two Members of Park and Recreation Commission (3-year term)
