Needham Farmers Market Celebrates Independence Day
An array of local treats and healthy produce was available to all in attendance.

The Needham Farmers Market celebrated Independence Day this past Sunday by offering an array of local treats and healthy produce from new and returning vendors. Kids also learned how to create glass-beaded necklaces.
Flats Mentor Farm provided asian vegetables and herbs to the market, including pea tendrils, amaranth and baby bok choy. MacArthur Farms and Neighborhood Farms returned with fresh berries, herbs, kale, greens and other veggies.

Sheryl Scipione was also on hand from Glass Arts and More to show kids how to make glass-beaded necklaces.
Chef in the House will make a return to the Needham Farmers Market this coming Sunday to provide grilling demos using garnishes from the market. Creative barbecue ideas will be shared for all in attendance.

Cookie Lady Treats, Lyndigo Spices, Teri’s Toffee, Haus, Flats Mentor Farm, MacArthur Farms, The Neighborhood Farm, Fior d’Italia, Bertucci’s, Jubali Juice, Soup and Spoon, and Red’s Best seafood, will all make a return to the Needham Farmers Market on Sunday, July 12.
Next Step Living will be present to answer your questions regarding home energy efficiency. Live music will be playing. Jewelry and art will also be on display.
The Needham Farmers Market is located behind Needham Bank in the Needham Center parking lot and is open Sundays from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
