Needham Farmers Market Holds Successful Opening

Needham Community Farm lucked out with beautiful sunny weather to welcome back shoppers on opening day on Memorial Day weekend, according to a press statement.

Numerous vendors offered shoppers a rainbow of spring flowers, seedlings, herbs, a variety of spices, chutneys, treats and baked goods, artisans, and jazz music courtesy of The Metrowest Jazz Project that made for a mini vacation feel in our own downtown Needham. The Needham Farmer’s Market opening ceremony featured local supporters who gave many thanks, accolades, and welcome to all including Moe Handel, Chairman of the Needham Board of Selectmen, State Representative Denise Garlick, and Eric Morse, Senior Vice President of Needham Bank.

Red’s Best seafood returns to the Needham Farmer’s Market this Sunday May 31 with fresh locally fished favorites! Vendors that will also be at your service at the Market this Sunday include MacArthur Farms, The Neighborhood Farm, Fior d’Italia, Lyndigo Spices, Bertucci’s, Uyghur Breads, Jubali Juice, Cookie Lady Treats, Teri’s Toffee Haus, Corn and Co. and Danish Pastry House.

Located behind Needham Bank in Needham Center, the Needham Farmers Market is open Sundays from noon to 4 p.m.
