Needham Farmers Market Says 'It's Harvest Time'

It will be Harvest Time at the Needham Farmers Market on Sunday, October 16.

Come to see all that the Fall Harvest has to offer for your dinner table at the Needham Farmers Market! An amazing assortment of locally grown apples, root vegetables, squashes, corn on the cob, garlic and greens to fill up your plate as the chilly weather begins. Enjoy lunch from the Center Café and stroll to the music as you shop, support local farmers, fishermen and eat healthy. Fun, friends, and Fall at the Needham Farmers Market this Sunday!

Vendors at the Needham Farmers Market this Sunday include Ackermann Maple Farm, Fundamentally Nuts, MacArthur Farm, Neighborhood Farm, Boston Sword and Tuna, and Deano’s Pasta.

Neighborhood Farm will have an assortment of apples and all of your favorites including new varieties of garlic, cherry, sungold, grape, sauce, and slicing tomatoes and sweet peppers. Also, leeks, several types of potatoes, hot peppers, eggplant, tomatillos, scallion, cucumbers, kale, lettuces, leafy greens, fresh garlic, onions, zucchini, summer squash, carrots, beets, and more!

MacArthur Farm will also return this week with potatoes, eggplant, green and red peppers, Chioggia beets, and multi-colored carrots. Try some fresh, organic broccoli, cauliflower, wax and green beans, pickling cucumbers, radishes, greens, various types of lettuce, rhubarb, herbs, zucchini, cousa, summer squash, sugar snap and shell peas, carrots, scallions, golden and red beets and of course, sweet peaches, apples, various melons, local and Maine blueberries and Acres Honey. Now a favorite, MacArthur Farm is also offering delicious and fresh, baked the same day Framingham Baking Co. Italian and French bread and rolls that have no preservatives to go with your soups and stews.
