Needham Farmers Market Welcomes Visitors

From the Needham Farmers Market:

Vendors at the Market this Sunday include MacArthur Farm, Neighborhood Farm, Boston Sword and Tuna, Deano’s Pasta, Terri’s Toffee Haus, Cookie Lady Treats, Carraig’s Apothecary, and Ackermann’s Maple Syrup.

MacArthur Farm will have Katie’s beautiful sunflowers, snapdragons, and dianthus to brighten up your tables. MacArthur will also be selling locally grown and fresh corn on the cob, his prize-winning tomatoes, wax and green beans, oriental spinach, pickling cucumbers, radishes, greens, various types of lettuce, rhubarb, herbs, zucchini, cousa, summer squash, sugar snap and shell peas, carrots, scallions, golden and red beets and of course, sweet strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, blueberries and Acres Honey. Now a favorite, MacArthur Farm is also now selling delicious and fresh, baked the same day Framingham Baking Co. Italian and French bread and rolls that have no preservatives.

Neighborhood Farm will have new types of seedlings for your own garden and their famous garlic in many new flavors and varieties, potatoes, broccoli, carrots, cauliflower, cherry tomatoes, green peppers, cucumbers, squash, zucchini, sugar snap peas, romaine lettuce, red and green lettuce, Italian kale, green curly kale, Swiss Chard, cauliflower, broccoli, rainbow chard, kohlrabi, nappa cabbage, and corn for popping.

Tom Phelan and MetroWest Jazz Project will be filling the Market with music. Photo cards, prints, fused glass jewelry and more designed by Beth DelBono will be on display under the artist’s tent.

Located behind the Needham Bank in Needham Center, the Needham Farmers Market is open on Sundays from noon to 4 p.m. The Center Cafe will host lunch for you at the Market from 12:00 noon to 1:30 p.m.
