Needham High School Dropout Rate Remains Low
The school continues to see a low number when it comes to dropouts.

NEEDHAM, MA — The dropout rate at Needham High School remains near non-existent, according to data from the state's Department of Education.
Last year, 0.1 percent of Needham High School's 1,663 students left before completing their education. The number is a slight uptick from last year's 0 percent and continues a trend that has seen a low number and a high of 0.6 percent in 2010, according to data going back to 2009.
Across the grades, all the dropouts came out of the senior class. About .5 percent of seniors dropped out.

Statewide, 5,523 students chose to drop out of high school, or about 1.9 percent of Massachusetts students.
