Needham Holds Public Hearing on Town's Tax Classification

The Board of Selectmen is holding a public hearing regarding the allocation of the FY2015 tax levy among the various classes of property in town.

The meeting, which residents are encouraged to attend, is on Tuesday, Dec. 9, at 7 p.m. in the selectmen’s room at the Town Hall.

This hearing, which is required by state law, will give interested citizens the opportunity to comment on local property tax policy as it will be applied during FY 2015. All real estate in the Town is classified according to use.
