Needham Man Charged with Pepper Spraying, Punching Driver in Road Rage Incident

NEEDHAM, MA - A Needham resident pepper sprayed another individual during a road rage incident, police said.

On May 29 at 6:45 p.m., police in Needham responded to a Peacedale Road residence for a road rage incident. The victim told officers that he was driving home on Greendale Avenue and was tailgated by the suspect’s truck. The victim pulled over on Peacedale Road and the man approached his car, sprayed pepper spray at him through the window and punched him several times according to the Needham Police Log.

The suspect, a 54-year-old Needham resident, will be summonsed to court for assault and battery and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
