Needham Man Injured In Fatal Northborough Crash

NORTHBOROUGH, MA — A Marlborough woman has died following a crash in Northborough on Saturday afternoon.

Meghan Farrell, 25, was killed in a multiple-car crashed that happened around 2 p.m. on Saturday on Route 20 in front of Chet's Diner. Two men in the second vehicle, a 75-year-old from Shrewsbury and a 65-year-old from Needham, were injured. A pedestrian who was checking his mailbox adjacent to the crash site sustained an arm injury and was transported to the hospital.

Around 1:12 p.m., officers were called to a serious crash near 191 Main St./route 20. The occupants of both vehicles were transported to UMass University Campus. Farrell was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Route 20 from East Main Street to Bartlett Street was closed for hours.
