Needham Man Crossing The Street Struck By SUV

NEEDHAM, MA — A man is in the hospital after getting struck by a SUV while crossing the street in Needham Sunday night.

At 8:30 p.m., police responded to a pedestrian strike on Highland Avenue near Morton Street. The driver of the SUV, a 33-year-old Quincy man, remained at the scene, according to the Needham Police Department.

The victim, a 31-year-old Needham man, was transported to the hospital. An update on his condition was not available as of late Sunday night.

No charges have been filed. Police are investigating.
