Needham to Offer Free Mental Health Referral Service
The Interface Referral Service will work to increase mental health awareness within the community.

Free mental health information and a provider referral service will now be available for Needham residents of all ages thanks to a $60,000 worth of funding.
The Needham Public Health Department, along with the Needham Coalition for Suicide Prevention, recently announced that the Kyle W. Shapiro Foundation and Beth Israel Deaconess-Needham Hospital, partnered to provide the funding which will be spread out over five years.
The Interface Referral Service will work to increase mental health awareness and inform of the issues that may plague children, adolescents and adults. The new service will also work to direct patients toward getting the proper treatment.

The service will offer free over-the-phone consultations with well-trained workers who will help assist residents in every way possible.
