Needham Police: 2-Car Crash Leads to OUI Arrest; Kids Damage Car With Snowballs
The following are excerpts from the Needham police log. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Wednesday, Nov. 26
- At 2:25 a.m., police responded to a two-car crash in the intersection of Greendale Ave. and Great Plain Ave. Mikail Jaikaran, 25, 81 Dunster Road, 1, Jamaica Plain, was arrested and charged with OUI/alcohol
- At 7:49 a.m., police responded to a call for a suspicious motor vehicle parked in the woods behind the DPW gate on Charles River Street. Police found two people target practicing with bows on private property. The parties had permission from the land owner.
- At 10:33 a.m., police spotted a car whose registration was revoked. After stopping the driver at South Street and Old Farm Road, the operator was found to have an active warrant. He was also charged for attaching plates. George Minasidis, 48, 16 Averton St., Boston, was arrested and charged on a warrant.
- At 2 p.m., a Reservoir Street business reported that they were victims of fraud. There were two checks mailed to individuals who were out of the state that appeared to be drawn on the business account.
- At 5:51 p.m., a Holland Terrace resident came into headquarters to report that he was the victim of identity theft.
- At 7:23 p.m., police were dispatched to the area of Dedham Ave. and Webster Street for a report of vandalism to a car. The operator said that a snowball had been thrown at the passenger window and damaged it. A 15-year-old boy of Bradford Street and 14-year-old boy from Bradford Street were identified. The operator was unsure if he wanted to press charges.
