Needham Police: Break-In to Pollard School; Deer Struck and Killed; Vandalism; Public Drunkenness
The following are excerpts from the Needham police log. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Wednesday, Nov. 12
- At 12:16 a.m., police responded to the Pollard Middle School for a motion alarm activation. Someone had broken into the school through the rear window. Police checked the building and found nothing.
- At 12:10 p.m., police responded to BI Deaconess Hospital to a Waltham resident whose car was hit while parked.
- At 5:52 p.m., police pulled a car over on Webster Street for an expired registration sticker violation. A 28-year-old Norwood woman was summonsed to court for operating a motor vehicle with a revoked registration.
- At 9:42 p.m., an officer stopped a car on Highland Ave. for a loud exhaust. The driver, a Needham male, 26, had a revoked driver’s license. He will be summonsed to court.
Thursday, Nov. 13
- At 3:30 p.m., a Needham resident who volunteers at RTS reported he lost his iPad while working.
- At 4 p.m., officers responded to a report of an intoxicated male at a Lincoln Street residence. The 45-year-old was placed into protective custody.

- At 9:50 a.m., an employee of PSAV Audio Visual reported some items missing from the company inventory
- At 1:05 p.m., a Needham High School teacher left her purse in the classroom. When she came back to school two days later, her purse was missing.
- At 3:36 p.m., police responded to 184 West St. for a report of a disturbance. A man showed up at the residence and got into an argument with the resident in the driveway.
- At 4:10 p.m., a Needham resident reported that her vehicle had been struck while it was parked on the side of the road on Harding Road.
- At 7 p.m., police responded to Kendrick Street for a deer that was struck by a car and severely injured. The animal was clearly suffering and put down.
Saturday, Nov. 15
- At 12:45 p.m., a Murphy Road resident came to the station to report that her car was vandalized.
