Needham Police Hire 2 New Cops

NEEDHAM, MA — The Needham Police Department welcomed two new officers, both of who worked together as cops in Medfield. Officers Joe Brienze and Patrick Keleher spent four years together on Medfield's police department before joining the Needham force.

The department said it was happy to welcome the new officers and highlighted some of their specialties they'll bring to town.

Brienze is certified as a field training officer, active shooter and patrol patrol procedure instructor, and is a certified hostage negotiator for the METRO-LEC regional team. He received his bachelors degree in business administration from Framingham State University.

Keleher specializes in accident reconstruction involving cars, bicycles, and pedestrians, as well as public administration. He graduated the University of Hartford with his bachelors in criminal justice.
