Needham Police Investigating Suspicious White Van

NEEDHAM, MA — An incident involving a man yelling at a teenager is now being investigated by the Needham Police Department.

At about 12:50 p.m. Friday, a person told Needham Police that they saw a man yell from his van on Dedham Avenue in Needham Square as a 15-year-old teenage boy walked by. The van was stopped in traffic and drove off when the traffic light changed.

Police say no threat or contact was made. The driver was described as a bald white man in his 40s.

While similar, police say the incident does not appear to be similar to one in Norwood that took place earlier in the day.
