Needham Police Law: Fake Cash, OUI, and More
The following is from the Needham Police Log. Arrests and charges mentioned don't imply conviction.

June 12
11:00 a.m. - An officer responded to a Great Plain Avenue residence on a reported mail fraud. The reporting party stated that someone had gone through her mail sometime over night. Envelopes were torn open, and some were on the ground next to the mailbox. Resident was advised to set up a credit alert and to contact U.S Postal Inspection service.

A resident of Gary Road reported that he was having issues with workers that were contracted to do work on his home. The matter is civil in nature.
1:45 p.m. - A Newton resident reported that her car was hit while in traffic at the intersection of Highland Avenue and Hunting Road. The other vehicle fled the scene. She was not able to get a license plate number of the other vehicle. A report was made for her insurance company.

June 14
10:00 a.m. - Police received a report that a counterfeit $20 bill was passed at Captain Marden's on Second Avenue on June 10. The business did not know who passed the bill and already spoke with their bank regarding the transaction.
June 15
10:00 a.m. - An officer pulled a vehicle over on Hunnewell Street with two flat tires. The operator said they struck a curb, but continued driving. A hearing will be set up at the RMV to determine their ability to continue driving.
June 16
12:30 a.m. - An officer responded to a report of a disabled motor vehicle at the intersection of Webster Street and Greendale Avenue. Upon further investigation Kathleen Darman, 73, of Virginia, was arrested for operating under the influence of liquor.
12:00 p.m. - Officers observed Sean Welch outside of his residence located on Hunnewell Street. Welch had a default warrant out of Barnstable District Court for operating under the influence of liquor, marked lanes violation, and license not in possession. Welch was placed under arrest without incident and transported back to the police station where he was booked without incident.
