Needham Police Log: Booze Heist, Vandalism, and More

January 15

3:00 p.m. - An officer responded to Needham Wine & Spirits for a report of two males grabbing some liquor and running out of the store and driving away in a dark colored sedan. The incident is under investigation.

7:30 p.m. - An officer responded to a Woodbine Circle address for a report of vandalism to a motor vehicle. The matter remains open.

7:50 p.m - An officer encountered four juveniles in a parked motor vehicle on Woodbine Circle where marijuana had been smoked. A small baggie and grinding device was seized for disposal, and the juveniles were released into the custody of their parents.

January 16

12:15 p.m. - An officer responded to Linden Street residence for a report of a larceny. The matter is under investigation.
2:50 p.m. - A resident of Grove Street came to the station to report credit fraud. Several credit cards have been opened in the victim's names from banks they do not use and in fact do not bank at. The victims have reported the fraudulent activity to the various credit card companies and banks and they have obtained their respective credit reports and notified their bank of the activity.
