Needham Police Log: Check Larceny, Warrant Arrest, and More

April 12
1:15 p.m. - An officer was dispatched to Brothers Pizza on Reservoir Street for a report of a past disturbance. The reporting party stated that the party in question had already left the establishment. The reporting party stated that the party became very angry because she had to wait on her food. The reporting party then said that based on her actions, she was denied service and will be given a letter of disinvite. The reporting party will give a copy to the Needham Police Department for our records.

2:00 p.m. - An officer responded to George and Ken's Auto Body on Chestnut Street for a report of a past larceny by check. The suspect was identified as a former employee. The incident is currently under investigation.
4:40 p.m. - A High Rock Street resident reported a possibly fraudulent use of her social security number. The person was advised to contact the Social Security Administration, and also contact the appropriate credit bureaus.

7:30 p.m. - An officer responded to a Marked Lee address for a report of a disturbance. Upon arrival, the officer spoke with the reporting party and other involved parties about the disturbance. It was determined that the disturbance was caused by a civil matter and all parties involved were advised of their options. The parties separated without further incident.
9:00 p.m. - Police responded to a possible breaking and entering in the area of Wexford Street. Two male parties were found in the area, scavenging for scrap steel. A DMV check revealed that one of the males, Augusto Nunes, 30, of Boston, had a warrant for his arrest. The warrant was for Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle. Nunes was arrested.
