Needham Police Log: Disturbance, Identity Fraud, and More

The following is from the Needham Police Log. Arrests and charges mentioned don't imply conviction.

February 16

7:08 a.m. - An officer responded to a report a disturbance at a Gould Street address. Upon arrival it was discovered that two men at a job site got into a verbal argument over a statement that offended one of the men involved. The argument was broken up before it got physical in nature. The offended party took the rest of the day off and left the job site. The company management was advised of the incident.

8:05 a.m. - An officer took a report of identity theft from a walk-in at the Needham Police Department. The matter is under investigation.

An officer pulled a vehicle over and after a brief investigation the operator, a 20-year-old Braintree resident, was summoned to court for minor in possession of alcohol.

7:15 p.m. - A St. Mary Street resident was caught trying to dump trash at the RTS after hours. The person was told to leave with his trash and come back during business hours.

February 18

An Elmwood Road resident reported that he was the victim of identity theft. Someone had used his identity to activate an AT&T account in Florida. He notified AT&T that it was not him who opened the account. They will investigate.
