Needham Police Log: Disturbance, Lawn Sign Theft, and More

June 8
6:39 p.m. - An officer responded to a Manning Street address for a report of a disturbance between a solicitor and resident. The solicitor stated he was from the Guiding Hands group, looking for donations. The resident stated that the solicitor would not leave their property. The solicitor was informed that they were not to return to that address. The resident was informed to call the police if there were any further issues concerning that solicitor.

June 9
9:45 a.m. - A walk-in reported that two lawn signs were stolen from her yard. They were 2' X 3' signs. The theft occurred between June 5 and 8.

2:00 p.m. - An officer responded to a Highland Avenue business for an attempted larceny. The perpetrator was caught and all items were returned. The perpetrator was trespassed from the business.
7:15 p.m. - An officer responded to a report of a disturbance behind the Pollard Middle School. The offending party was advised and sent on her way.
