Needham Police Log: Embezzlement, Graffiti, and More

March 11

2:45 p.m. - An officer responded to a report of vandalism to town property on Hillside Avenue. An employee noticed graffiti on a sign in front of the building as well as on a wall next to the main entrance. Photos were taken to document the graffiti and the reporting party was told to contact police if any further instances occurred.

4:30 p.m. -Two officers responded to a Beard Way residence for a report of embezzlement. The officers spoke with the resident and her attorney. The matter is under investigation.

March 12

10:15 a.m. - An officer was performing traffic enforcement on West Street at Hillside Avenue and observed a vehicle with no inspection sticker. The vehicle was pulled over on Highland Avenue. After a brief investigation the operator, Duhamel Cassagnol, a 28-year-old Milton resident, was placed under arrest and charged with operating a motor vehicle with a revoked license, subsequent offense; and failure to inspect the vehicle.
