Needham Police Log: Home Break-In, Nails Dumped on Street, Lawn Mower Theft

The information regarding the following police-related incidents was provided by the Needham Police Department.

8/14/15: At approximately 9:00 p.m., an officer responded to a Webster Street address for a complaint of illegal dumping. On arrival, the resident informed the officer that someone had put roofing nails in the area in front of his house on two separate occasions.

8/16/15: At approximately 5:00 p.m., an officer responded to a theft of a lawn mower from a Central Avenue business. The Officer determined that a theft and possible break had occurred. Needham Police Detectives were called to conduct an investigation, and the matter remains open.

8/16/15: At approximately 5:00 p.m., an officer responded to a Webster Street residence for a past breaking and enter. Upon further investigation the residence had been broken into by using force to open the front door. Nothing appears to have been stolen from the residence.
