January 27
Two Needham High School students had their clothes stolen from their gym lockers. The incident is under investigation.

8:45 a.m. - An officer took a report from a motorist who stated that his car was broken into overnight while parked at the Sheraton Hotel. A vehicle window was smashed to break into the car.
12:20 p.m. - An officer responded to a Garden Street address for a report of a past larceny of jewelry. There were no signs of forced entry at the home. The matter is under investigation.

A resident of Second Avenue reported that someone stole his identity and used it to open a fraudulent Walmart charge card. The card was cancelled.
1:00 p.m. - An officer responded to 2nd Ave. on a reported past dog bite. A dog was bitten by another dog.
January 31
7:00 p.m. - An officer responded to Barrett Street for a report of an injured opossum in the roadway. It was reported that the animal was hit by a car. The animal was dealt with and removed.
