Needham Police Log: OUI, Disturbance, and More
The following is from the Needham Police Log. Arrests and charges mentioned don't imply conviction.

January 19
1:10 p.m. - An officer stopped a motor vehicle for speeding on 4th Ave. A 25-year-old male from Boston will be summoned to Dedham District Court on a charge of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
A Richdale Road resident reported that his wallet had been stolen while he was on a trip in New Orleans. Since then, there have been a few attempts to open credit cards using his info. The attempts were denied.

January 20

12:30 p.m. - An officer stopped a vehicle on Central Avenue and after a brief investigation, placed the operator, Yvonne Tiekka, 24, of Boston, under arrest for use of a motor vehicle without authority, receiving a stolen motor vehicle, and concealment of leased or rented property. The vehicle was towed.
9:30 p.m. - Officers responded to a two-vehicle crash on Dedham Avenue with no injuries. After an investigation Ashley Plaiser, 3, of Hyde Park, was arrested for operating without a licence and operating under the influence of liquor
January 21.
10:45 a.m - A South Street resident reported unauthorized credit card accounts opened in their name.
9:30 p.m. - Officers were dispatched to the Needham Sheraton on Cabot Street for a report of a function that had gotten out of control with underage drinking and individuals possibly in need of medical attention. Upon arrival a number of individuals under the age of 21 were observed to be intoxicated and a number of full and empty alcohol containers were discovered throughout the function. The function was shut down and all individuals under the age of 18 were released to an interested adult party. A 55-year-old Needham woman will be summonsed to Dedham District Court for providing alcohol to persons under the age of 21.
January 23
9:30 a.m. - Officers responded to an Arnold Street residence for a report of a disturbance. All parties involved were advised to lower the noise level and cooperate with each other for the evening. The offending parties are said to be moving out in a few days.
