Needham Police Log: OUI, Shoplifting, and More
The following is from the Needham Police Log. Arrests and charges mentioned don't imply conviction.

February 23
6:00 p.m. - An officer pulled a vehicle over for speeding on Webster Street near Roscoe Street. After an investigation the operator, 41-year-old Guy Morse of Tyngsborough, was placed under arrest for operating under the influence of liquor (second offense) and speeding.

12:45 a.m. - An officer observed a vehicle traveling on Webster Street cross the double yellow line and initiated a motor vehicle stop. Upon further investigation the operator, Andrew Skladany of Wellesley, was placed under arrest for operating a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor.
A resident of Washington Avenue reported that someone attempted to open accounts using his identity in two separate banks. He told the banks it was not him and the accounts were closed.
2:15 p.m. - An officer was dispatched to a Highland Avenue business for a report of fraud involving non-delivery of product. The matter remains under investigation.

February 25
A Lyft driver reported that he was threatened by a male subject he dropped of on Barrett Street. He had no further information. The area was checked and that party was not located.
12:00 p.m. - An officer took a report of a dog bite. The woman was was walking near Gari restaurant in Needham Square when it happened. The call is under investigation.
12:00 p.m. - A Newton resident at Panera Bread on Highland Avenue had her wallet stolen. A Brookline woman at the store at the same time also had her wallet stolen out of her pocketbook. Credit cards were later used at a store in Westwood. Needham Police are investigating.
February 26
12:15 p.m. - An officer responded to the Closer Exchange on Geat Plain Avenue for a report of past shoplifting. The officer spoke to the reporting party who stated that a woman, who he recognized as a past suspect of shoplifting, took some items from his store and left in a blue Porsche SUV. He estimated the items to be valued at approximately $200. The matter is under investigation
