Needham Police Log: Shoplifting, Erratic Threats, and More

The following is from the Needham Police Department. Arrests and charges mentioned don't imply conviction.

January 9

5:25 p.m. - An Officer was dispatched to a Jos. A. Bank on Highland Avenue for the report of a shoplifting in progress. The reporting party described the suspects and path of flight. A search of the area produced no suspect results. The matter is still under investigation.

10:00 p.m. - An officer responded to a Chambers St residence for the report of a lost cell phone. The resident lost her cell phone and needed a report to give to her cell phone provider.

January 10

2:15 p.m. - An officer responded to a Highland Avenue business for a past disturbance. An employee of the business stated a man became upset with services and prices he was quoted by her. He began to act erratically, but finally left the business after the employee threatened to call police. No charges have been sought at the present time but the matter is under investigation.

January 11

2:15 p.m. - An officer took a walk in report of a past incident of forged checks. The reporting party stated that three forged checks were cashed in his company's name. The matter is currently under investigation.
