Needham Police Log: Stolen Bikes, Breaking and Entering, and More

The following is from the Needham Police Log. Arrests and charges mentioned don't imply conviction.

April 17

Police responded to a Pleasant Street residence for a report of a motor vehicle that had been entered overnight. I spoke with the vehicle's owner and he said the car was unlocked and someone entered the vehicle and stole about $100.

1:06 p.m. -Police responded to the Broadmeadow School for a report of vandalism to bird feeders around the school. The offending party was gone prior to police arrival.

2:45 p.m. - Police responded to a Newell Avenue residence for a reported unwanted party. After speaking with all involved it was determined that the party would be allowed to stay.

April 18

9:23 a.m. - An officer was dispatched to a South Street address for a report of hit and run crash. It appeared a vehicle had damaged his front lawn. There are no suspects at this time. A police report would be completed for insurance purposes.

3:00 p.m. - An officer was dispatched to Linden Street for a report of vandalism to a door lock. The matter is currently under investigation.

4:45 p.m. - An officer responded to a Greendale Avenue address for a report of a past larceny and possible identity fraud. The reporting party was advised of his options and the incident is under investigation.

9:30 p.m. - Officers responded to a Fair Oaks residence for a report of a breaking and entering. The matter is currently under investigation.

April 19

10:30 a.m. - A walk-in reported a past larceny at a residence on Dunster Road. The party believes the items may have been taken during an open house.

2:41 p.m. - A walk-in told police that his bicycle along with two friends' bicycles were stolen from a Rosemary Street parking lot the previous day.

11:30 p.m. - Officers responded to Donna Road residence for a loud disturbance. As a result, an 18-year-old female from Needham will be summonsed to court for furnishing a place for minors to drink.
