Needham Police Log: Stolen Bikes, Disorderly Conduct, and More

August 8

8:40 p.m. - An officer responded to a report of four stolen bicycles at an Oak Knoll Terrace address. The incident is under investigation.

8:45 a.m. - An officer was dispatched to 5 TV Place for a report of property damage. The reporting party stated the concrete driveway that leads into WCVB was damaged and that the driveway was just paved on Saturday. A sign was placed between the entrance and Gould Street stating "No Construction Vehicles."

August 12

2:00 p.m. - Officers responded to Highland Car Care Center on Highland Avenue for a disturbance in progress called in by a customer of the business. The offending party, also a customer, was dissatisfied with work he had previously paid for. As a result, a 31-year-old Boston man will be summoned to Dedham District Court for disorderly conduct. He was also verbally no-trespassed from the business and he was advised to take the service issue to small claims court.

A Sargent Street resident came into the police station to report that her social security number was used to fraudulently file an income tax return. They have placed a fraud watch on their credit.
