Needham Police Log: Store Theft, Cyclist Struck by Car, and More
The following is from the Needham Police Log. Arrests and charges mentioned don't imply conviction.

July 6
9:20 a.m. - Officers responded to Moseley Ave. to serve a probation violation warrant to Paul Fonseca. Upon arrival, he was located and placed into custody without incident. The warrant was issued out of Waltham District Court. Fonseca was transported to Dedham District Court for processing.
3:48 p.m. - An officer responded to Salon Victoria on Great Plain Avenue for a past larceny. A female entered the business and stole cash while there were no employees present. The matter is under investigation.

5:00 p.m. - A person contacted the detective division about a fraud incident involving a resident at North Hill for whom he is power of attorney. The North Hill Resident was told she won Publishers Clearing House and had to send a check to receive the payment. Bank of America has been notified and the incident is under investigation.

5:00 p.m. - An officer took a walk-in report of past fraud. The party reported that she was the victim of an internet scam and had sent money to an unknown party to remotely fix her computer from a virus. The party had already reported the incident to her bank.
6:33 p.m. - Officers were dispatched to the area of South Street at High Rock Street, for a reported cyclist possibly struck by a motor vehicle. Officers observed a male party, who appeared to be in his 50's, standing next to a bicycle with minor injuries. The bicyclist said that the car swiped him. The operator was spoken to as well and the matter is still under investigation.
