Needham Police Log: Underage Drinking, Suspended License, And More

February 18

10:57 p.m. - An officer responded to a Central Avenue residence for a report of a sick and possibly intoxicated juvenile female. The female had been at a small gathering at a Lindbergh residence. After an investigation, a male juvenile will be summoned to court for furnishing alcohol to people under 21.

3:21 p.m. - An officer observed a vehicle traveling southbound on Highland Avenue near Morton Street. A check of the vehicle's registration through the registry showed the registered owner to have a suspended license. Following a traffic stop and a short investigation the registered owner, a 28-year-old Winthrop man, was summoned to court for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.

12:15 a.m. An officer responded with other police units for a report of an underage alcohol party on Ardmore Street. Transportation was arraigned for several parties. A parent responded to take control of the house. A juvenile will be summoned to court for furnishing alcohol to minors.
