Needham Police Log: Vandalism, Break-in, and More

January 17

11:10 a.m. - An officer conducted a motor vehicle stop at the intersection of Highland Avenue and the Route 128 South off-ramp. The operator, a 37-year-old Waltham woman, was cited for a stop sign violation and unlicensed operation. The female operator will be summoned to Dedham District Court for the violations.

11:10 a.m. - An officer stopped a motor vehicle for a prohibited U-turn. The operator of the motor vehicle, a 47-year-old Marlborough man, will be summoned to Dedham District Court for unlicensed operation and a prohibited U-turn.

January 18

2:00 p.m. - An officer responded to TripAdvisor on a report of vandalism. The property parking garage was vandalized by graffiti in three separate outdoor locations. The reporting party photographed the vandalism and requested extra checks of the property. The matter is under investigation.

January 19

6:00 a.m. - An officer was dispatched to Needham Center Mobil on Great Plain Avenue for a report of a past break-in. The matter is currently under investigation.

7:30 a.m. - An officer was dispatched to a Highland Avenue for a report of vandalism to a motor vehicle. The matter is currently under investigation.
