Needham Police Log: Vandalism, Trespassing, and More

The following is from the Needham Police Log. Arrests and charges mentioned don't' imply conviction.

September 29

5:50 p.m. - An officer was dispatched to the rear parking lot of the Pollard Middle School for a report of found property in the the adjoining woods. Two backpacks containing beer cans were found in the area. The matter remains under investigation.

A Dedham resident reported that her car was struck while she was parked in front of a business on Highland Avenue. There were no witnesses.

September 30

11:25 a.m. - An officer on Oak Street encountered a suspicious man trespassing on a construction site. After confirming with the contractor that the party was not welcome at the property, the suspicious party was advised not to return at any time for any reason going forward.

9:20 p.m. - An officer responded to a dispute over a taxi fare in the area of Great Plain and Greendale Avenues. The matter was settled to all parties satisfaction.

October 2

11:00 a.m. - An officer was dispatched to a South Street address for a report of past vandalism to the property. The vandalism took place sometime between 6 p.m. on Oct. 1 and 10 a.m. on Oct. 2. A check of the area revealed no additional vandalism.
