Needham Police Log: Vandalism, Vehicle Break-in, and More
The following is from the Needham Police Log. Arrests and charges mentioned don't imply conviction.

July 8
9:00 a.m. - An officer took a report of illegal dumping at the Congregational Church. The church reported that someone has been leaving bags of trash in the parking lot near the dumpster and playground area.
11:00 a.m. - An officer was dispatched to Brookline Street for a report of graffiti spray painted onto the rear of a building. A check of the area revealed no addition vandalism to the address.

July 9
A Truman Street resident reported that a watch had been stolen from her home during an open house. The matter continues to be investigated.

An Officer was driving on Yurick Road and observed two vehicles parked in the driveway of a residence. Both vehicles, a Mustang and a Mazda sedan, had the same registration plate attached to them. An RMV query revealed that the registration was revoked for insurance cancellation on the Mustang. Dispatch confirmed the status that it was revoked. The vehicle owner was issued a citation for a criminal application for two counts of uninsured motor vehicle and one count of attaching plates.
9:30 p.m. - Officers responded to Residence Inn on B Street for a report of a past motor vehicle break-in. The matter is under investigation.
July 10
11:50 p.m. - Officers responded to a Tillotson Road address for a report of harassing phone calls. A police report was taken and the reporting party was advised of their rights regarding a harassment prevention order.
