A Theft That's Not So Silly

Pool Party Bust

June 26- 2:28 a.m.- Police were called to 75 Winding River Rd. regarding a report of a loud party and possible underage drinking. Upon arrival, officers parked one house away and could "immediately hear a loud gathering that was taking place in the rear yard," according to reports.

Upon entering the side gate of the house, police found a pool party taking place with about 12 people in the area. A "large amount" of alcoholic beverages were in plain view, as well as people drinking. Police asked all parties for identification and found them to be under 21. The parties admitted to drinking and admitted that more people were in the house.

Officers entered the home and asked all underage parties there to stop drinking. One male continued to drink from a red cup, despite being told not to by officers. Officers asked him his age, told him he was too young to drink alcohol and asked him to again cease drinking. Despite this warning, the subject took another sip. Due to his inability to listen to direction and appearance of being highly intoxicated, the male was placed into protective custody, where he continued to act unruly.
