Needham Police Log: Woman Hit by Car, Smashed Car Window, and More
The following is from the Needham Police Log. Arrests and charges mentioned don't imply conviction.

December 5
12:00 p.m. - An officer responded to a Hillcrest Avenue residence for a report of fraud. The matter is under investigation.

12:45 a.m. - An officer observed a vehicle parked with the engine running at the entrance to the Broadmeadow School. A query of the registration showed the vehicle to have a status of revoked for insurance cancellation. The operator, a 22-year-old Boston man, will be summoned to court for operating a motor vehicle without insurance. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
Officers responded to Charles River Landing on Second Ave for a report of robbery. On scene officers located the missing property and learned that it was a misunderstanding.
11:40 a.m. - An officer took a report of a possible data breach to a company on Highland Circle. The company is in the process of notifying all customers and the Attorney General's office.

2:25 p.m. - An officer stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation on Highland Ave. The operator, Robert Barbosa, 34, of Marlboro was placed under arrest for operating with a revoked license and a stop sign violation. The vehicle was towed from the scene as neither of the two passengers had a valid license.
5:25 p.m. - An officer stopped a vehicle at Highland Avenue near Utica Road. The operator, a 24-year-old Lawrence woman, was cited and will be summonsed to Dedham District Court for operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
December 8
8:30 a.m. - An officer responded to a Lincoln Street address for a report of vandalism. The reporting person told me that sometime broke the rear window of her car during the overnight hours. Nothing was missing from the car. No physical evidence was left at the scene.
12:00 p.m. - An officer responded to the area of Webster Street and Evelyn Road for a report of a suspicious person. The suspicious person was gone on arrival and a check of the area came up with negative results. The suspect asked to enter the caller’s address to check the water system. The suspect was denied access to the home when they could not provide any identification and was asked to leave. The suspect was described as a white male wearing a Red Sox hat, blue jeans, a dark colored shirt, and stated they had facial scarring.
2:30 p.m. - An officer responded to a Great Plain Avenue residence for a report of a male party that was bitten by a dog. The dog was adopted by the male party. The dog was quarantined and will be followed up.
4:10 p.m. - An officer was dispatched to a Highland Avenue address for a report of a lost registration plate. After speaking with the reporting party the plate number was entered into NCIC/CJIS.
6:00 pm. - Officers responded to the area of Highland Avenue and Mellen Street for a 58-year-old Walpole woman who was struck by a motor vehicle. She was transported to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center by Needham fire for non-life threatening injuries.
