Needham Police: Man Buys Fake Pats Tix; Arrest for OUI; Drunken Disturbance at Apartments; Pumpkin Mailbox Attack
The following are excerpts from the Needham police log. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Friday, Oct. 25
At 2:26 a.m., police stopped a motor vehicle on Highland Ave. after watching the operator commit several motor vehicle violations. Glen Graubart, 51, 46 Ash St., Hopkinton, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence and operating to endanger.
At 1:30 p.m., police responded to a residence on High Street for a report of a suspicious person. The person was identified and the matter is under investigation.
At 5:23 p.m., police responded to 138 Forest St. for a report of vandalism. The resident showed police that the mailbox had been knocked off the wooden support post. The post was broken. There was also a large pumpkin in pieces in the roadway. It appeared that someone threw the pumpkin at the mailbox.
At 8:14 p.m., police responded to 211 Rosemary St. for a report of a disturbance. One resident of the apartment building was intoxicated and pounding on the door of another resident and causing a disturbance in the hallway. A 40-year-old Needham man was placed into protective custody and charges will be filed for disturbing the peace.
At 9:35 p.m., police responded to Needham High School for an alarm. Two Needham residents, a 19-year-old male and 19-year-old female, were found inside. The male claimed to be retrieving belongings. Both will be summons to court for trespassing.

At 2:10 p.m., police responded to a call from a resident of Woodlawn Ave. who said that he bought two Patriots tickets that were fake.
At 8:20 p.m., a past hit and run was reported at a Chestnut Street business.
