Needham Police: Pedestrian Hit; OUI Arrest; Multiple Package Thefts; Identity Fraud

Wednesday, Dec. 17

• At 7 a.m., police responded to the intersection of Central Ave. and Gould Street for a car crash involving a pedestrian. The victim was evaluated and not seriously injured.
• At 8:50 a.m., a Webster Street resident reported that someone attempted to obtain a Capital One credit card using his personal info.
• At 6:30 p.m., police assisted Dedham Police with a crash investigation on Lyons Street.
• At 7:20 p.m., police responded to a report of vandalism to Christmas decorations, 7 Alfreton Road

Thursday, Dec. 18

• At 9:20 a.m., police responded to Parkinson Road for a report of stolen packages. The resident stated that three were stolen on Dec. 9.
• At 10:04 a.m., police responded to a report of suspicious phone calls, 8 Whitter Road
• At 6:19 p.m., police responded to 128 County Way for a report of a possible past breaking and entering. The resident said her gold ring was stolen from the kitchen windowsill.

Friday, Dec. 19

• At 1:30 a.m., while on patrol, police saw a vandalized mailbox on 2nd Ave. Further checking the area, they noticed a broken window at a business (Isis Maternity), and an insecure door. Nothing had been disturbed. One person was questioned and released.
• At 3:10 p.m., a hit and run happened on Bradford Street. Two cars were struck.
• At 7:20 p.m., police responded to 223 High Rock St. for a report of a deer struck by a car. The driver was uninjured and the car had minor damage. The DPW removed the animal.
• At 10:18 pm., police were dispatched to 114 Hillside Ave. for a report of a past disturbance between the tenant and landlord. Both vacated for the night.

Saturday, Dec. 20

• At 1 a.m., police responded to 1394 Great Plain Ave. for an unwanted female party. She agreed to leave the residence.
• At 2:50 a.m., police responded to a vehicle off the road on High Street. Andre Pasquarosa, 26, 27 Edgewood Drive, Needham, was arrested and charged with OUI
• At 9:05 a.m., police responded to 155 Richdale Road for a report of past fraudulent activity. A person had gained access to the victim’s social security number and opened a cell phone account in their name.
• At 1:30 p.m., police responded to 99 Hoover Road for a report of past larceny. Someone stole a package continuing $400 of clothing

Sunday, Dec. 21

• At 10:10 a.m., police saw a car being driven with the front bumper scraping the roadway. The car was towed from the scene.
