Needham Police Respond to Vandalism Complaints

Needham Police responded to complaints of Vandalism on South Street on Dec. 11, reports Wicked Local Needham.

Wicked Local Needham reports:

The responding officer noticed two broken mailboxes on the ground. The reporting party told police he noticed his and his neighbor’s damaged mailboxes that morning after driving his grandchildren to school. According to police, it appeared a vehicle pulled into a driveway and knocked the mailboxes over.

According to police, tire marks were found in the dirt near where the mailboxes were originally located. According to federal law, destruction of mailboxes is subject to fines and can be punishable by up to three years in prison.
