Needham Residents Among Group Organizing Benefit Evening for VNA Care Network & Hospice

Needham residents, Katie Doonan and Jack Rooney, are among several individuals behind “Cool Hot Jazz,” a benefit evening created to support the VNA Care Network & Hospice’s home health services for the terminally ill.
The benefit will feature live music by Henri Smith New Orleans Friends and Flavours, silent and live auctions, heavy hors d’oeuvres, and a cash bar.

The second annual event will take place on September 25, at 6 p.m. in the Needham Golf Club on 49 Green Street. Volunteers dedicated to raising awareness of and support for the agency’s nonprofit mission of caring, are organizing the benefit.
Originally known as the Needam Visiting Nurse Association, VNA Care Network & Hospice has brought health care into the homes of Needham area residents since 1910.

Tickets for the benefit are $60 per person and may be purchased at www.vnacarenetwork.org.
“We are so grateful for the dedicated work of all of our Community Cabinet volunteers. Their efforts are making a difference right here, close to home,” said Jane Woodbury, vice president of fund development for VNA Care Network & Hospice.
