Needham’s Street Fair returns to Town Common Saturday
Stop by Needham Town Common this Saturday, June 1 between 10am-2pm for the Annual Spring Street Fair.

The Newton Needham Regional Chamber is excited to preserve this community rich event which draws thousands to Needham Center every spring. With over 80 local businesses and community organizations, live performances and lots of activities, it’s sure to be a fun filled and informative day for the whole family.
The fair is once again generously presented by Needham Bank, Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital Needham and Briarwood Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center.
“The Spring Street Fair is one of the premier events of each year for our community,” says Eric Morse, executive vice president of Needham Bank. “It’s one of those quintessential Needham events bringing the local merchants together with the many families supporting them. For many of us, it marks the changing of the season, so we see many, many customers out and about. It’s really our privilege to sponsor the fair.”

Stroll through the rows of tables and tents and enjoy free giveaways and special activities for all ages. Check out the face painting and balloon artists; play a game of beanbag toss Step into Brookline Bank’s photo booth and pick up a bag of popcorn at Direct Federal Credit Union’s old-fashion popcorn cart.
Louise Condon Realty will be providing trolley rides around a Needham Center loop and Coldwell Banker will be hosting pony rides in the parking lot adjacent to Town Hall. Always a huge hit, the Charles River YMCA will be front & center with its bouncy house along Great Plain and the DPW will bring out its work vehicles for the ever-popular Touch-the-Trucks section. Not to be outdone, Needham Police and Fire will also have a police motorcycle and ladder truck on display.

The Chapel Street Food Court will feature Hearth Pizzeria, Gari Japanese Fusion Bistro, Masala Art, Abbott’s Frozen Custard, The James Pub & Provisions and Needham newcomer Cappella Restaturant.
Enjoy the live performances on Garrity Way all day from home-grown Needham talent: Jam Sandwich, Charles River Ballet Academy, Plugged In Band, Hello Newman, Adya Dance, Total Dance Eclipse Dance Studio.
Needham’s Spring Street Fair will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sat. June 1 on Needham Town Common.
