EXTREME LOOKS
“Extreme Looks” is a free four day intensive seminar that examines how the media goes to extremes that distort girls’ self-esteem, body-image, and perceptions about relationships. Based on a model of wellness, the group will incorporate activities, discussions, and teach participants safe ways to exercise and stay healthy, thus addressing the needs of the mind, body, and spirit. In addition to the seminar itself, participants will be eligible for summer memberships to the Needham YMCA.
The program is open to girls, in 6th - 8th grades (2016-2017 school year) and is scheduled for Monday – Thursday, June 26th – June 29th, from 1-4 pm.
