New York Native Bares Her Soul for Gazebo Concert

Mild temperatures and the sounds of jazzy soul music created another great night for those who came out for the Arts in the Park Series.

The July 22 performer in the Needham Park and Recreation run series was Juliet Lloyd, a self-described classic soul performer. Lloyd was named the "Best Female Vocalist in Boston" in a WBZ-TV poll and has performed with artists like Keane and The Fray. On Thursday she took to the piano while Glenn Korzin accompanied her on guitar.

Thursday's event was sponsored by Needham Savings Bank. Next week will find the Needham Community Band playing the gazebo.
