OUI, Teen Struck By Car, And More: Needham Police Log
The following is from the Needham Police Log. Arrests and charges mentioned don't imply conviction.

September 14
2:10 p.m. - An officer was dispatched to the Sheraton Hotel on Cabot Street for a report of stolen medication from the room. The incident is under investigation.
2:45 p.m. - An officer responded to a Highland Avenue business for a report of an intoxicated male party. It was determined that the 58-year-old Needham man was intoxicated from an alcoholic beverage and he was placed into protective custody for his own safety.

10:15 p.m. - An officer made a motor vehicle stop on Highland Avenue. The operator's license status was listed as revoked. The operator, a 50-year-old Dorchester man, was cited and was issued a summons for operating with a revoked license. His son came and picked up the operator and the vehicle.

A resident of Carleton Drive reported that his identity may have been stolen.
2:00 p.m. - A 16-year-old Needham High school student was arrested at Needham High School and charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.
2:00 p.m. - A Fairview Road resident stated that the rear of her home was vandalized by what she believed was spray paint. Upon closer inspection, it appeared to be a type of aerosol, possibly insect repellent spray. There were no words or anything discernible. No witnesses or suspects at this time.
September 16
2:03 a.m. - An officer observed a Toyota Camry traveling at a high rate of speed on Highland Avenue towards Newton. The vehicle proceeded to take a left onto Gould Street from Highland Avenue and the officer initiated a traffic stop on Gould Street. After subsequent investigation, a 26-year old Needham man was issued a summons for operating a motor vehicle after license suspension.
A resident of Walnut Street reported that someone had entered her car overnight and taken items from inside. The car was unlocked.
3:00 p.m. - An officer responded to the intersection of School and Warren streets for a reported crash between a car and a bicyclist . The 16-year-old boy was sitting on the sidewalk. Next to the boy was his bicycle, which had a bent front wheel. Nearby was Toyota Camry, which was pulled off to the side of School Street. Witnesses reported that the bicyclist rode into the intersection in front of the Camry. The front tire of the bicycle and the front bumper of the Camry made contact, knocking the cyclist to the ground. The cyclist was transported to Beth Israel Deaconess Needham by Needham Fire Department ambulance. The cyclist was treated for abrasions and later released.
September 17
1:34 p.m. - Officers responded to Hillside Avenue for a report of a vehicle that had crashed into a wall. The operator was transported to Beth Israel Deaconess Needham.
7:45 p.m. - An officer responded to the area of Highland Avenue and Webster Street for a report of a two-car crash. All the people involved were uninjured. Based an investigation, Christopher Coury, 35, of Needham, man was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of liquor and failure to use care while stopping.
