OUI, Trespassing, And More: Needham Police Log

The following is from the Needham Police Log. Arrests and charges mentioned don't imply conviction.

July 2

1:15 a.m. - An officer observed a motor vehicle parked on the shoulder of Highland Ave, still running. After further investigation, the operator a 36 year old West Roxbury woman was arrested for operating under the influence of liquor.

9:00 p.m. - An officer received a call to Charles River at Locust Lane, for a possible person trespassing on town property. Upon arriving into an area near the Charles River, officers spoke with 18 youths with an age range of 14 to 18. All names and information of the individuals were taken, and parties were all advised of trespassing on town property. All parties left the area with no incident.

July 3

11:30 a.m. - A Greenough Street resident walked into the police station to report that his bike was stolen outside of Town Pizza on Highland Avenue.

8:50 p.m. - An officer responded to a Chapel Street parking lot for the report of a two-car crash. After further investigation, one of the operators a Igor Dubobik, 35, of Needham, was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of liquor.

10:25 p.m. - An officer responded to a Bradford Street address for a report of vandalism to a vehicle. The car windshield had been smashed sometime during the evening. There were no witnesses.

July 4

7:45 p.m. - An officer responded to the walking path at the end of Lake Drive for a reported intoxicated juvenile laying on the trail. A 16-year-old Needham boy was taken to Beth Israel Needham under protective custody for treatment.

10:40 p.m. - An officer was dispatched to a Central Avenue business for a report of three suspicious people. There are no issues at this time.
