Police Join Investigation of Former Needham High Principal

Police have joined the investigation of a former local high school principal amid a workplace conduct complain.

Former Needham High School principal Jonathan Pizzi now faces a police investigation stemming from the complaint according to the Boston Globe.

The Needham Police Department comment on the case Monday, only to confirm the investigation and that there are no students involved.

Attempts to reach Pizzi by the Globe at his Braintree home and phone were unsuccessful.

Pizzi, who had been principal since 2009, was placed on administrative leave last Wednesday.

Superintendent Daniel Gutekanst also did not provide details of the investigation but said no students were involved.
